What does CampusMate do?
CampusMate turns live speech into readable source text and translation on your Mac. Interview and viva modes can use documents you provide to suggest an answer structure; lecture mode can turn selected transcript text into a summary and action list.
Four working modes
AI interview assistant
Upload your résumé, capture the interviewer through system audio, confirm the translated question, and use AI guidance as a draft based on your real background.
Thesis defense and viva assistant
Prepare project documents before the session, then view the examiner's question, translation and evidence-based answer ideas together.
Lecture translation
Use the microphone for in-person classes or system audio for online lectures. Transcription and translation are local by default; AI summaries are optional.
Bilingual subtitles
Follow foreign-language videos with source and translated subtitles without sending raw audio as an AI request.
Privacy by default
Speech recognition and local translation run on the device by default. When you actively request an AI answer or summary, the necessary text and documents are sent to CampusMate's server and its AI provider. Read the privacy policy for details.
Simple one-time passes
Local transcription, translation and subtitle features are free. AI features cost USD 2.99 for 1 day, USD 9.99 for 7 days, or USD 19.99 for 30 days. Passes do not renew automatically.
